Peter Milczyn, the Principal, has over thirty years of experience in Design, Planning, and Municipal Approvals. A University of Toronto Architecture graduate, he began his career in private practice in 1989. In 1994, he was elected as a City of Etobicoke Councillor, advocating for thoughtful development and Main Street Mid-rise housing. His political journey continued in 2000 when he became a City of Toronto Councillor for Etobicoke Lakeshore, where he spent fourteen years as a key member and Chair of the Planning and Growth Management Committee, contributing to initiatives like the Harmonized Zoning By-law 569-2013, the Etobicoke City Centre district development, and a new Committee of Adjustment Appeal process in Toronto. In 2014, he won a seat in the Ontario Legislature and was appointed Minister of Housing in 2017. Since 2018, Peter has led PM Strategies Inc., a consultancy dedicated to helping land developers and property owners secure municipal approvals for a range of commercial and residential projects. His work is supported by a trusted network of professionals, including land surveyors, arborists, architects and designers, engineers, transportation consultants, and lawyers, ensuring timely project approvals.
